Every coffee in our seasonal selection comes from one farm or cooperative. We taste each lot before it's roasted, reject anything that doesn't make the grade, and ship what's left within a week of roasting. No blends, no shortcuts. It started on the Isle of Seil, a small Hebridean island in Argyll, 30 minutes from Oban. We came back from Mallorca with a very simple idea: Scotland deserved better coffee, and the culture to go with it. So we learned to roast. Properly, from scratch, until we understood every decision between the farm and the cup.
That obsession hasn't changed. Every week we roast 80+ SCA-graded single origin Arabica coffees, sourced from traceable farms across Brazil, Costa Rica, Uganda, Colombia and beyond. The Isle of Seil is where it started. Every bag we send out carries something of it.

Hinba supplies wholesale speciality coffee to cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices and hospitality businesses across the UK. We’ve run our own sites since 2019, starting on the Isle of Seil and now operating eight locations including four coffee shops, two restaurants, a bakery and our roastery. We know what it takes to serve good coffee day in, day out.
Our wholesale range is built around SCA-graded single origin coffees with Hebridean roots, roasted fresh every Monday. Every wholesale partner gets a named account manager, complimentary barista training and full commercial equipment support.
Weekly roast schedule: Wholesale orders roasted every Monday. Submit before Sunday midnight to be included that week.
